This includes the student's first and last name, a parent's email address, the student's email address if provided, the student's current grade level, how you would like to begin, and any optional questions or comments you choose to share. If you proceed with an intake or pre intake form, we may also collect academic information you provide voluntarily, including GPA, coursework, standardized test scores, extracurricular activities, target colleges, intended major, essay topics or drafts, and any other information relevant to preparing your guide. If you purchase a guide, a third party payment processor collects payment information directly. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.

3. How We Use Your Information. We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiry and send you the intake or pre intake form, to prepare, write, and review your personalized guide or assessment, to process payment when you choose to purchase, to communicate with you about your order and its delivery, and to improve our internal processes and knowledge base over time. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Use of Artificial Intelligence. We use AI tools as part of preparing your guide. AI helps draft sections of your guide using frameworks built by our team, and it is used to pull supporting statistics, such as CDS percentile data, admitted student GPA ranges, and acceptance rates, from publicly available sources. Information you submit through our intake and pre intake forms, including academic details about your student, may be processed by these tools as part of preparing your guide. Every guide is reviewed by a member of our team before it is delivered to you.

5. Children's and Minors' Information. Our services are built around students who are frequently minors, and we take extra care with this information. Our forms are designed to collect a parent's or guardian's email address as the primary point of contact, and we intend for a parent or guardian to be aware of and involved in each submission. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child under 13 without the involvement of a parent or guardian. If we learn that a child under 13 has submitted information without apparent parental involvement, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Parents and guardians may contact us at any time to review, correct, or request deletion of their student's information.

6. How We Share Your Information. We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who are authorized to use it solely to perform services on our behalf: Netlify, which hosts this website and processes form submissions, Tally, which may host certain intake forms, a payment processor, which handles transactions when you purchase a guide, the AI tools described above, and members of the CollegeMaxx team who work directly on preparing and reviewing your guide. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CollegeMaxx, our users, or others.

7. Cookies and Technical Information. This site may use basic functional cookies or local browser storage necessary for the site and forms to work correctly, such as remembering your progress on a multi step form. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third party tracking pixels. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy to reflect it. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs limited technical information, such as IP address and browser type, for security and operational purposes.

8. Data Security. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us, including relying on established providers such as Netlify and our payment processor for secure handling of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention. We retain submission, intake, and guide related information only as long as reasonably necessary to deliver your guide, provide follow up support, and maintain records for our own business and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your information at any time, and we will honor that request unless we are required to retain certain records by law.

10. Your Rights and Choices. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you or your student at any time by contacting us at collegemaxx1@gmail.com. We will respond to reasonable requests in a timely manner. You may also decline to provide certain information, though this may limit our ability to prepare a personalized guide.

11. Third-Party Links and Services. Our site links to third party platforms, including Instagram and TikTok, and may direct you to third party form providers such as Tally or a payment processor. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party site or service.

12. International Users. This site and our services are intended for users located in the United States. If you access this site from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.

2. Description of Service. CollegeMaxx provides personalized college preparation guides and assessments based on information submitted through our intake and pre intake forms. Guides are built using frameworks and strategy decisions made by our team, with AI tools assisting in drafting sections of your guide and pulling supporting statistics such as admissions data. Every guide is reviewed by our team before delivery. Guides are informational and strategic in nature. We do not guarantee admission to any institution, and no statement on this site should be read as a promise of any particular admissions outcome.

3. Eligibility and Use by Minors. Our services are intended to be purchased by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a student, or by a student who is at least 18 years old. If you are a parent or guardian submitting information on behalf of a minor, you represent that you have the authority to do so and consent to our collection and use of that information as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. How to Order. To begin, you submit our contact form with your name, contact information, and grade level, and choose either the free pre intake or the full paid intake. If you choose the full intake, we will send payment instructions and the detailed intake form for your student's grade level. Your order is not complete, and work does not begin, until payment has been received and the intake form has been submitted.

5. Pricing and Payment. Current pricing for each grade level is listed on this site and is subject to change at any time without notice, though changes will not affect an order already placed. Payment is due in full before we begin preparing your guide. We use a third party payment processor to handle transactions. We do not directly store your full payment card information.

6. Delivery Timeline. Completed guides are delivered within 7 to 10 business days of our receiving a fully completed intake form. If your intake form is missing information we need to prepare a specific and personalized guide, we will contact you before starting, and the delivery window begins once we have what we need.

7. The Specificity Guarantee. If any section of your guide reads like generic advice that could apply to any student rather than yours specifically, we will rewrite that section at no additional charge, and will continue to do so until it meets that standard. This is the sole remedy available for guides that do not meet our specificity standard.

8. All Sales Are Final. All purchases made through CollegeMaxx are final. We do not offer refunds for any reason once an order has been placed and payment has been received, including after a guide has been delivered. The Specificity Guarantee described above exists so that any shortfall in quality is corrected through revision rather than requiring a refund.

9. Accuracy of Information You Provide. The quality and usefulness of your guide depends directly on the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit. You agree to provide truthful, accurate information to the best of your knowledge. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in your guide that result from incomplete or inaccurate information you provided.

10. No Guarantee of Admission Outcomes. CollegeMaxx is an educational strategy and preparation service. We do not control, influence, or have any relationship with college or university admissions committees, and admissions decisions are made solely by those institutions based on criteria we do not control. All university names, logos, and marks referenced on this site are trademarks of their respective institutions, used here for identification purposes only, and do not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those institutions.

12. Prohibited Uses. You agree not to use this site or our forms for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to access, scrape, or reverse engineer any part of our systems, forms, or underlying methodology, to submit false information with the intent to defraud, or to use any content we provide to you in a way that violates these terms.

13. Third-Party Services. Our site and process rely on third party services, including Netlify, Tally, and a payment processor. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or issues caused by these third party services that are outside our reasonable control.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties. Our services and this website are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non infringement.

15. Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CollegeMaxx and its founders, team members, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you actually paid for your guide.

19. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service, your purchase, or your use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and will take place in the state identified in the Governing Law section above, or remotely if both parties agree. You and CollegeMaxx each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding on both parties.

20. Severability and Entire Agreement. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CollegeMaxx regarding your use of this site and our services.

21. Changes to These Terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
